Audiovox is demonstrated a full palette of advanced accessories that simplify how consumers will use, share, control and enjoy devices in the home in a special Innovation Pavilion at the Audiovox booth at the 2008 Consumer Electronics Show. To strengthen its position in home control and provide consumers with a simple, unified approach to home networking, Audiovox has joined forces with two emerging industry standards groups. The Z-Wave Alliance is a consortium of more than 160 independent manufacturers who have agreed to build wireless home control products based on the Zensys Z-Wave open standard. On the networking side, the HD-PLC Alliance promotes HD-PLC as a safe and easy home networking standard for powerline-based home networking products.
